Phantom 13th zone on app, or app not communicating with evohome screen.
If you experience problems when registering your evohome device details, always make sure you have not forgotten to connect it to your wifi network and it is connected to the internet.
Try a different browser like chrome or firefox - safari is supported but sometimes it will not work.
If your evohome screen has been connected to your app but has stopped showing temperatures, log into your account via a browser not the app and delete the location that is not communicating. Then create the location again and enter the device details of the evohome screen ( mac code and CRC code ) This normally fixes the problem.
We have noticed that some of our customers have managed to create a 13th zone 'the phantom 13th zone' on the app but not on the evohome screen ?? Sounds crazy and impossible but it has happened. This zone does not show any temperatures but must confuse the system. Just log into your account and delete the location and then create the location again and register the evohome screen device codes ( mac code and CRC code ) these are located on the screen behind the front facia. The facia frame just pulls off to reveal the mac code etc.
